Shipping Info
METHOD: All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with
Delivery Confirmation
added.
SHIPPING
TIME: Per the USPS Web site, orders will usually arrive to you
within 2-3 days of mailing. Please allow for extra shipping time during sales or the busy
holiday season. Additionally, there may be times that I, as a
student, may not be able to assemble your order on the day it's
received so please inquire BEFORE ordering if you are
concerned about turnaround time. As a seven year
veteran of the online bath and body industry, I strongly believe
in good customer service both before, during, and after the
sale, so I will always do my best
to assemble orders as quickly as I can, and I will ALWAYS email you with
updates when there are delays.
INSURANCE:
Shipping
insurance is optional and is not automatically included. Please make
your request for postal insurance in the comments box at
checkout.
LIABILITY:
Body Confections is not responsible for packages once they are
mailed, with the exception of leaks or labels damaged by
packing. If your labels are damaged by packing or leakage, they will be replaced immediately and free of cost. In cases of significant leakage, the entire product will be
replaced free of cost.
SMOKE-FREE :
Orders are carefully assembled in a clean, non-smoking environment. If your
package arrives smelling of smoke, please
contact your local USPS office
as it was likely the postal carrier smoking in the mail truck
(I, personally, would like to see the USPS disallow this
practice and would
be happy to lodge a complaint right alongside you).
BILLING:
POSTAGE
IS CHARGED SEPARATELY and is not included in your order
total at initial checkout. Orders are made, boxed,
then weighed and
calculated on the USPS site to
determine shipping price. You will receive a payment
request through PayPal when your order is ready to ship. The amount requested will be the exact cost of postage plus
3.5% and .35 cents added to cover PayPal's processing
fees, which PayPal subtracts from all postage payments. We
accept the loss from original order payments, but if BC did not
add it into the shipping bill, we would be covering those fees
at a loss of about $2.00 per average size shipment.
MAILING:
Orders are mailed after the postage bill has been paid.
PROCESSING:
Orders are processed and assembled in the order they are
received, unless supplies need to be restocked and an order must
be put to the side to wait for delivery of supplies. There
may also be times when
a very small order is made before a larger order, even if the
larger order was received first. During sales or times of
high order volume, assembling
one-item orders ahead of orders that contain four or more items
is just practical. It expedites shipping and lets everyone
receive their order faster. If you are concerned about
turnaround time, please inquire before ordering. Thank you in advance for your
understanding.
